4. Straight left arm drill:

Straight left arm drill.

How can I keep my left arm straight during the backswing? The muscles in your back may not be stretched enough to create the bigger arc that you need in order to play to your full potential. If this is the case, practice this exercise many times a day for a few weeks. The stretching of the muscles in your back will enable you to keep that left arm straighter, therefore, maintaining the radius of your swing.

Practice the straight left arm drill by placing your right hand behind your left arm.  Pull the arm across the body causing the shoulder to turn, therefore, creating a stretch in the upper left side of the body, as shown in the image above.

This will also help the left arm to remain extended during the backswing.

MUSCLE MEMORY DRILL

Muscle Memory.
Muscle memory drill.

Keep this position for a few seconds or longer and repeat as often as possible until you no longer bend your elbow while doing your backswing (muscle memory).

5. Forearm ball drill:

Forearm ball drill.

This teaching tool is easy to make. Attach a ball to a string. Place the string around your neck and have this ball hang between the forearms at the address position, as shown in the images on the right and below. 

Maintain a slight tension on the ball and you will create an extension of your arms on your backswing and your downswing. This will lead to a larger swing arc with more power and speed.

The forearm ball drill also helps to keep the left arm straight during the backswing.  The elbows stay closer together while helping the arms stay straighter longer. You can start with a bigger ball then go with the smaller size ball (tennis ball), as shown in the images above and below.
