2. Right leg flexed:
Make sure your right leg remains flexed during the entire motion of the golf swing, as shown in the images above. This will help with consistency and accuracy.
3. Club angle at 45 degrees:

I often tell my students, when using any irons, the backswing should not exceed 45 degrees, as shown in the image above.
Keep the left arm straight during the backswing. This will prevent your club from going too far in the backswing as shown in the image above.
You should feel the weight of the clubhead and know where it is positioned at all times when doing your backswing.
Going back too far:
A common problem I see with players that are starting to play or players with high handicaps (high scores) is the length of the backswing. You are looking for trouble when sending your club too far back during your backswing, as shown in the image above.
PLEASE NOTE:
To produce similar shots, time and time again, the player must be able to have repetitive swings. By going too far back during the backswing, it becomes very difficult for the player to be consistent with his swing (similar swings = similar shots).
It is harder to create a smooth and graceful golf swing when your club goes back too far. This problem can easily be corrected with time and with the use of the muscle memory drill.
